Made in Europe

A good print isn't enough.

Our shirts are made in Europe. 95 percent combed cotton and 5 percent elastane make them comfortable to wear. 190 gsm gives the shirt structure without feeling heavy. A shape retaining collar and clean construction round it off.

Founder

We couldn't find it. So we made it ourselves.

We met through tennis. First on tournaments, later as player and coach, and eventually as friends off the court too.

At a day rave in Berlin, one of us was wearing a tennis shirt he had been searching for. Streetwear that felt like tennis without looking like classic tennis kit.

We realized we were both looking for the same thing.

Clothing for people for whom tennis is more than the moment they hold a racket.

That's how Close Call started.

Our Story

Second Serve

A second use for every can.

Tennis clubs, performance centers and tournaments open new balls every day. Once the balls are in play, the cans are usually not needed anymore.

We collect these cans, give them a new purpose, and make them part of every Close Call order.

Every can gets our design and a personalized sticker with the name of the person it's meant for.

An object from tennis gets a second use.
